Hi, As some of you know I moved to London in 2013, to a city where I knew few people. One of the things I remember vividly about moving here was my next door neighbours who were a local family with young children and grandparents living together. They were very friendly and I have become close to the family over time. This year there has been a devastating development in that the youngest member of this family was diagnosed with a germ cell cancer, (she is under 2 years old). This type of cancer is quite rare with it making up 3% of children's cancer. She has been receiving gruelling chemotherapy, every 3 weeks, and is currently awaiting the results of her latest scan. Recently I encouraged them to apply for support and they were offered a holiday in a caravan on the South East coast at the end of this month! This will be the first time they have gone away ever together as a whole family, for a much needed break from the current situation. I would love for them to have a great time, and to help towards their travel costs and spending money. They are a group of 10! I'd love it if you would like to join me in helping this become a really fun time for them where they can splash out a bit and really get some well earned respite.
