    Story

Butterfly is a Pre-School based in the village of Sutton-In-The-Isle, Cambridgeshire. Its a school that strongly believes in providing the best first learning experience for kids to help boost their educational experiences further in life.

My son joined Butterfly in 2018 and was a little slow with his speech development and ability to interact and play with other children. Being only 2 and just beginning his school experience, we wanted to make sure to choose a preschool that gives him a great kick start to his learning journey. I remember when I first met Donna and Emma, the teachers at Butterfly's who visited us at our house to meet my son, who was so nervous that he kept his eyes shut during their entire visit. They were so keen to find out about my son and were already thinking of ways to help him boost his confidence and develop his speech. It was this passion of theirs that checked all the boxes in my head and made me choose Butterfly's for my son.

Ever since, each day has been such a great experience for my son and now he not only speaks fluently with all ages but has gained tremendous confidence and loves his time at Butterfly's. Every Friday is a feedback day for me, where the teachers would send me a detailed feedback on his time at school that week and areas they are helping him develop further.

Its very rare to find such a great Pre-School for your children these days and it breaks my heart to find out how much these schools really struggle to keep running. With such low Govt grants, low wages for teachers and increased business expenses the Pre-School suffers immense financial strain. The teachers put in hours of effort and sometimes have to wait weeks before they get paid because of irregularities in Government grants and late fee payments. Regardless of all the strain Butterfly carries on providing such top class care for our kids.

The aim of this campaign is to raise funds to recruit more teachers and help Butterfly change children's lives!

This pre-school has a caring environment with learning activities, structured play and regular feedback to the parents. It is a great asset to the village and my granddaughter is very happy there.
