Welcome to the JG page for “Customisation to. Battle Depression”

I set this project up earlier this year to help with my own depression and PTSD after coming to terms with my past.

The basics of the project are as follows.

We have been given a car (Mk4 Ford Fiesta) that anyone locally that suffers with depression, anxiey, PTSD etc etc to come along and work on the car to turn it into a jaw dropping roadster!

The car will be stripped completely, strengthened and the roof removed to turn it into a two seater roadster.. At any part of working on the car, members can chat over a brew or just work on the car to forget your worries for a couple of hours.

Members can utilise existing skills, learn new ones as well as resurect forgotten skills. If members want to chat, they can, if they dont, then they dont have to.

Once the car is completed, we will then sell the car once completed to raise funds for CAIS a local Mental Health charity.

Any funds raised will enable us to buy consumerbles such as paint and equipment etc.
