I'm running the Belfast Marathon to raise money for All About Greyhounds - a non profit organisation who rehome unwanted greyhounds, while promoting the breed as pets. Run by 3 dedicated women, with help from family and friends, the organisation has rehomed over 300 greyhounds since 2015. The organisation depends on donations to help with food bills, as well as vet and kennel fees, and raise money and awareness by hosting fortnightly greyhound walks. My first greyhound, Yaya, came to me from All About Greyhounds in December 2016, followed by his sister Lily in March 2017 - but they constantly have a long waiting list of dogs also needing homes. The walks are also a great opportunity to meet people and make new friends - I highly recommend anyone to come along and see the hounds!
