This Easter I am going on a trip to Botswana, along with fifteen of my peers, in the hope of helping young, disadvantaged children in Botswana to gain a steady education, with a secure grasp of English, as well as science, art, Geography and PE. We will also be visiting an orphanage where we will be helping to build facilities for the children to use. In addition to this, we will be fully immersing ourselves in the culture and learning some of the language, as well as exploring the environment and wildlife and the projects to conserve it. All the resources we take with us we will leave in the school so that they may use them in future. The donations I raise will be put towards helping all of these causes.
