We are a group of Intensive Care Nurses, ex-intensive care patient's and Relative's and together we have set up a regular monthly support group.
An Intensive care admission has a huge impact on patient's and their relatives. Post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, loneliness etc are all common factors people experience following and intensive care admission. They do not affect everyone, but they can cause problems within families and our everyday lives.
We have worked to create a forum for people to come together who understand each others experiences and who support one another. We want to continue this support but need your help to do so. Thank you
