You don't know me and I don't know you but I have reached a desperate time in my life where I am reaching out to complete strangers and asking them for help.

I am a single unemployed mother who has managed to get by for the past three months (since I lost my job) with help from my father (who is also a single parent ironically). Though this situation has not been ideal, we have made it work since before I lost my job I was a stock up mom meaning I had enough food and toiletries for us. Things have turned worse for us as my father has now just lost his job as well.

As I am sure you know, times are tough but I am hoping to reach a few people that may have a bit to spare and are willing to help my family. We are in desperate need of a bakkie and thus money for the bakkie. Our target goal is R50 000,00 but any and all donations are appreciated, a simple R10,00 can go so far.

For anyone who knows anything about cars and their costs, you will know that R50 000,00 for a car is nothing and yes chances are it will break down on us very soon but until that day arrives it would be a vehicle we could use to get to job interviews.

I am trying to keep this as short as possible. A few may be asking ''well what have I been doing since I lost my job'', well in answer to your question, aside from looking for another job, I have been studying web development as well as web design, digital marketing and social media marketing. I have also converted my suburban property into a homestead. We have a vegetable garden (not producing yet) as well as rabbits for meat. We make our own soaps, toothpaste, shampoos, cleaning products etc.

All I am asking is for help, in whatever way you can provide, I personally am not a very social person, I enjoy being by myself but I am in a desperate situation and I am asking help from anyone who is gracious enough.
