I've recently started to do the occasional jog, and decided to give myself a challenge by participating in my first organised race event.

Living in Cardiff I have chosen to run in the Cardiff 10k taking place on 01/09/19.

I have already paid my entry fee and will not be using any funds raised by this JustGiving campaign to cover these costs.

Originally I did not have any other objective other than to run the race, but thought as i'm at it i may as well try and raise a bit for Charity.

I have selected the Stained Glass Trust, which runs the Stained Glass Centre in York. The trust has the aim of providing an educational centre to encourage the study and appreciation of stained glass, as well as to breathe life back into St Martin-cum-Gregory church; an evocative Grade I listed building, which dates back to before the 11th century.

Any funds I raise will be transferred to The Stained Glass Trust once i have completed the 10k to help them with their education programmes and efforts.
