Hello, and thank you for visiting our JustGiving page, for our Dental Brigade to Honduras in 2019.

We are a group of fourth year dental students, from Cardiff Dental School, who will be visiting Honduras, in Central America, to provide vital dental treatment, and dental disease prevention, to those who do not have regular access to a dentist and who, most of which, live below the poverty line. By providing a dental service to the people who access our clinic, we aim to improve their dental health, and improve their quality of life, using our limited resources.

In our dental clinic, the types of dental treatment we will carry out will include: extractions of non-restorable teeth, restorations/fillings and scalings. We, as a Brigade, are trying to raise money towards dental supplies in order for us to be able to fulfil the treatment needs of the patients we see.
