In March, earlier this year, sadly 16 year old Manon Jones lost her battle against depression. Later that month, I applied for the Cardiff Half Marathon and set my heart on running in Manon’s name. I aim to raise and donate all the sponsorship money to The Manon Jones Foundation, who Manon‘s wonderful parents, Nikki & Jeff, and loving sister Megan, set up in order to prevent teen suicide. It will give young people accross Cardiff a safe place to visit and stay, and concentrate on the beauty of life and the world, not on their worries. This building will be somewhere within nature, as Manon truely loved being outside, especially with her horse Stella. Your money will go straight towards making an immediate and absolute impact, creating an amazing website which will be the heart of the Manon Jones Foundation.
