Hi all, this last week the back window of Dad's Nissan flew out while he was driving on the freeway. Thankfully no-one was injured. PG glass can't replace it as the car is that old, it also has no power steering (though Mom thinks this provides good exercise for Dad!) Dad was finding it very painful to get in and out of the Nissan, because of his knees but was determined to soldier on. However now he has to concede defeat. Richard and I have found him a second hand car for sale in Ballitto costing about £5000. We would like to buy it for him as it is one of the 25 top cars recommended for senior drivers. This is something we are willing and able to do. However I am aware of others who would also like the opportunity to help Dad, so I'm widening the door for those of you who might also want to help buy Jonathan a car. No amount is too small as it's the thought that counts. Apparently Just Giving will also accept South African rands and American and Canadian dollars.
