    Story

I've suffered with depression and drug and alcohol related issues since my teens. After a few failed overdose attempts I jumped in front of a train because I could no longer cope with my past and demons, I wanted to escape my internal mental pain.

Fortunately I survived due to the emergency services and the London air ambulance.

I want to give back. My personal trainer suggested that I do some fundraising for a charity of my choosing so it is a no brainer for me to choose London Air Ambulance as they are not government funded.

As a result of jumping in the path of a train I lost my left leg above the knee. My fundraising challenge involves abseiling from the Royal London Hospital Helipad.

Please join me on this journey to support an indepensible service that dedicates it's services relying on the help of volunteers and fundraisers to provide a very pertinent service which is crucial to saving lives. I would not have been here today if it were not for London's Air Ambulance rapid response and countless others can also attest to this fact.

So on September 16th James my PT and I completed the abseil of 305ft off of the Royal London Helipad! What an experience , once I overcame the fear of going over the edge it was pretty cool, especially since I kept spinning mid air gaining a spectacular view of London! It was amazing to be a part of this event to put myself out on a limb (excuse the pun) for London Air Ambulance who has saved the lives of many including myself. Thank you to all those who have supported me and to those who have made a contribution to saving lives by donating
