Our friends run The Maggie Fleming Animal Hospice up in Scotland and have just moved premises and so we are doing a Speed Scramble up Red Screes to raise money for new fencing and animal buildings etc. The charity is great and is run by passionate people who could always use donations. The scramble itself is from Kirkstone Pass to the summit of Red screes, over 1100 feet, usually acheived in over an hour to an hour and a half. Several of us are going against the clock to try and smash the 45 minute mark! (Even quicker if we can!)
