Marcia Warwick attended Calum's memorial masquerade ball in October this year. Although she knew Calum, his condition and indeed used to cut his hair, by attending the ball it really pushed home the devastation his death caused to his family. We did a presentation on Calum's life and Marcia, along with most people, was moved to tears by this. She has children herself and could understand the massive hole Calum created when he passed away.

This epiphany has certainly spurred Marcia in to action and she has very kindly announced to me that she is to run the Freckleton half marathon on June 17 2018 in Calum's memory. A fantastic gesture and one we overwhelmingly grateful for.
