My 15 year old daughter is travelling to China and Mongolia on an expedition in 2019 with Queen Victoria School. The aim of this trip is to help build and repair an orphanage which houses the poorest of the children in a remote village in Mongolia.
They will be building a playground, concreting holes in the walls, plastering, painting walls and equipment, teaching and giving out supplies to the children.
The orphanage is in a remote village which means they have to get there on a 5 day trek, walking over hills and through rivers and camping in tents, on return they will spend 3 days on horseback.
She will then be spending 5 days in Beijing to learn the language and sightseeing, including visiting schools.
She needs to raise £4000 to help this community and will be doing various things to help raise this money. She is passionate about helping others and hopes you can help her.
