On 15th March, along with many others I will be taking part in the Saints Community Sleep Out at The Totally Wicked Stadium. The event is to raise awareness of the massive homeless issues we have in St Helens and all money raised will be split between Teardrops and the YMCA. I have been volunteering at Teardrops for about six months and the work they do to support the homeless community is a lifeline for many, providing people with a safe space they can go to for food, shelter, advice and to socialise. By sleeping outside for one night, I hope we can get people talking about the homeless issues we have and support those who have to endure rough sleeping for much longer and in much harder conditions. Any donations no matter how big or small are so greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
