On 27th May 2017 my beautiful daughter Francesca lost her long battle with mental health aged 27 years.

As many of you will know Fran was a beautiful, kind and caring girl who unfortunately was bullied very badly through school. Sadly this is something we are seeing far too often these days and the long term effects of bullying are severe mental health and anxiety problems in adulthood.

Unfortunately the system massively failed Francesca when she asked for help and needed support. Francesca found that she received more help from the local charities but sadly these services are extremely stretched due to the number of people accessing them and the reality is that there is not enough support out there.

We are asking people to help support us in setting up a charity in Frans memory so that we can use the money to support local mental health charities. Our first step is going to be sponsoring a room at MIND in Frans memory, we will also be holding lots of fundraising events to raise money.

Our eventual aim once Frans charity is set up is to set up a support service of our own that will be able to help mental health sufferers when they are in a crisis. We all know someone who is or has been affected by mental health so please help us make a difference.
