At the moment we have I think 12 cats in foster mostly with Lorraine, and 5 dogs in long term foster due to really serious issues. Our vet bills were in the region of 11/12 thousand and we have managed to pay of around £5000 of that plus the ongoing vet bills we have coming in. Because of the massive debt and the cat flu and injuries my car crash we had to stop taking any more animals in to the rescue as it would have been stupid and irresponsible not to.

We continued to help stray cats by getting them neutered but we have ended up with some also needing unexpected vet treatments so we have had to stop that too. We have also been helping with lost and found animals in trying to locate owners and going out looking for ones lost locally. so we haven't stopped helping the animals even though we had to stop actually taking them in to our rescue.

We need to get this debt paid so we can then start taking in animals in need again as soon as possible.almost every min of every day is spent fundraising to pay this massive debt off. it's so frustrating and upsetting not being able to take any animals in when they so badly need help.

Before all this we used to take in abused, neglected, and stray dogs cats and even rabbits. We tended to take the worst cases that came up so helped less animals but those who were desperate for the most help. They were taken straight to the vets for a full check up, neutered,chipped, vaccs, flead and wormed, assessed had training and rehabilitation in foster then when they were ready we looked for adopters for them offering full RBU.
