As many of my friends are aware - I am travelling to The Gambia in January and am using the opportunity to undertake some involvement with the local children and their community. Having researched how best to do this - I am now trying to raise funds in order to buy some reusable ( washable ) sanitary protection which I can take with me to distribute accordingly. Many of the girls currently miss school during their period or use leaves and rags for protection. I am asking my friends and family to donate as little as £1 to help make a difference. For £56 we can buy 50 pads. Its as simple as that 💗
