My mom(carole) was diagnosed with terminal cancer in may 2017. After a year of fighting, cancer got the better and mom lost her battle. The georgina unit at Russells hall Hospital where mom had her chemotherapy every 3 weeks and where she took her final breaths was amazing. They made sure my mom and our family were in the know of what was going on and we all so supportive and kind! The georgina unit have a relatives room in hwich myself and my family were able to stay to be close to my mom without her knowing we were there. Due to us using this facility it meant other families couldnt access it at their free will.
