This is my friend, Aleem. He has cerebral palsy and doesn't have much control over his muscle movement. Most of the time his only communication with the outside world is through Facebook and WhatsApp. Around 8 months ago Aleem dropped both his laptop and mobile. As they were broken, they were given to a man recommended to carry out repairs. He didn't see either his laptop or mobile again-they were stolen by that person.

What type of person would rob an innocent man who has such a severe disability? It is very distressing. They have taken his lifeline to the outside world.

Aleem has since bought a new mobile, but cannot afford a new laptop as it has to be a special type in order to lay a special keyboard overlay to allow his fingers to stay in position.

I really want him to have a new laptop for his birthday which is on the 18th of November. He is so down in the dumps at times as he can't put messages on Facebook or send messages using the mobile alone.
