I am looking to save westham village pond the water levels have dropped to the point there is only 10% of the capacity left the local parish council don't want to do anything accept pass the buck over that past few weeks we have seen fish die ducks get stuck in the silt and the fish and the ducks struggle in the green mercky water the ducks often can be seen standing in peoples waist and rubbish please help save this pond we need to get a team in to clear all the rubbish and silt and re fill it with fresh clean water I visit the pond on a daily basis and my 19 month old girl loves to sit and feed the ducks but since the hot weather the ducks are not coming up on the the grass we are very saddened that the parish council aren't as passionate about the village pond and would rather see it full of dead fish and no bird life at all county clean have said that this is something they can do so it looks like it's down to those who are passionate about this lovely village pond to save it please help us save this pond and restore it back to its former glory
