Story
Carrie suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This rare condition weakens the connective tissues and means Carrie’s body can’t hold itself together. She has now developed a complication called Cranio-Cervical Instability that is causing her skull to sink into her spine.
Secondly, I’m sure you are all well aware of the environmental problem of plastics in our oceans. Northumberland has 60+ miles of beautiful coastline and whilst (as you can see below) it is usually very clean, we are coming to the end of the holiday season so we thought we’d do a sponsored beach-clean.
The objective is to see how much rubbish we can carry off the beach with proceeds going to Carrie’s fund. Yes you guessed it … CARRY FOR CARRIE. It’s at times like this I wish my name was Gary!
