Story
I lost my father in the summer and I am looking to accomplish something which would make him proud, which is to raise more money for Parkinsons research at Cardiff University by running a marathon. My mother has suffered with Parkinson for over 30 years and in that time in addition to local good causes my father had been a big advocate of Parkinson charities and in more recent times he had directed his efforts towards raising money towards research into Parkinson being conducted at Cardiff University. Through the money recently donated a PHD student has just started some vital research which otherwise would not have gone ahead. I want to help them do more!

A retired tight head prop trying to run 26 miles. Will be tough and I am not convinced my legs will get me to the end but the good cause will help spur me on.
