My friends name is Casey. She is a fellow American expat living in the UK near me. In June 2018, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 womb cancer. She had a radical hysterectomy a few weeks later but the cancer had spread into her lymph nodes and into her lungs. She had 6 rounds of chemotherapy and starts 25 cycles of radiotherapy in February. Treatment is working and prognosis is good. However, she hasn‘t worked since July and has exhausted her sick pay so no longer receiving a pay cheque.

As if all of this isn’t enough to make her feel bad, even worse, her boyfriend of two years just left her. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to go through all this so far from the support of family. Originally I had set this up to help raise funds for a flight for her mother to visit and offer some comfort, however, her mother has declined as she refuses to fly. We had hoped once Casey felt better she could fly to the US to see her family which she has not seen in 5 years however, as money is no longer coming in, covering her bills are a priority. Please help me give Casey more than enough to cover her bills so she can see her momma!
