Court and cat - are going to be taking part in The Welsh1000Walk to raise awareness and funds for the Mental Health Charity MIND.

As we both are part of the Cardiff police youth volunteers, we will be walking from the final leg (route 71). The reason to why we are doing this is because MIND have been fundamental in setting up the blue light scheme to assist in supporting emergency services in identifying and coping with poor mental health. This is why we are doing this, as we need more people to be aware that people who are working in the emergency services can suffer from poor mental health too. We would be greatful for any donations possible as mental health effects 1 in 4 of us and it's important that we spread awareness to enable us to tackle metal health together as a whole.
