This weekend I visited Pablo’s Horse Sanctuary at Long Clawson with Jayne Coppinger who has supported them for many years. They have rescued and are currently caring for around 98 horses who otherwise would have been put down mostly because they have some sort of injury and now can’t be ridden. They also have a herd of goats that a local theme park no longer wanted because they were too old !!!, stray cats, rescue geese, cockerels and have just been left a donkey!!!!

They are in real dire straits at the moment.

A date for your diary - 1st Sept - Retro 70s/80s night (you know where). £12 a ticket, all you need to do is donate the £12, turn up and have some fun!!!!

Food and entertainment included - just bring your own booze!!!
