On 3 August 2018 I fulfilled my lifelong dream to swim from England to France across the English Channel. It took me 16 hours and 7 minutes of non-stop swimming to land on a Sandy Beach in France, an extremely emotional moment.

I wanted to use the opportunity to make a difference for others and set out to raise. money for Davide and his family. While I was swimming so many people donated to the fund and I was overwhelmed by the love and support shown.

I would like to keep the moment going to raise as much as I possibly can for the family who are deeply grateful for your generosity.

In July 2015 an accident in a swimming pool, at a summer camp, robbed an energetic and joyful little boy, called Davide, of his vitality. A doctor managed to resuscitate him, but in an instant, the life of Davide and his family changed forever. His distraught parents, siblings and family have travelled a difficult, heartbreaking path, trying to restore as much quality to their lives as possible. It has been a massive strain adapting life to care for him and to face the financial strain of therapies and rehabilitation. The strength and love of this family is admirable and it would be a privilege to help them in any way I can.

Every bit of help, however small, is greatly appreciated and will go directly to the cause.

Please note my swim is completely self-funded an no fundraising money will be used for this. All funds will go to help Davide in his much needed therapy and medical care.
