Snowdonia Slateman Triathlon - May 19th, 2019 - Team Harper

Chad and I are hoping to complete the Slateman Triathlon in a couple or weeks time (relay team) and have last minute decided to raise money for a worthy cause .....

Most of our friends will know that over the last couple of months Tomi has had a number of seizures. During this time we have visited Wrexham’s children’s ward on a number of occasions. Tomi has loved his trips there! Not only have the staff been amazing with him, but he has had great fun playing in the play room. Without this facility he would have been restless, impatient and a nightmare to entertain.

We know so many other families who have also visited Children’s Ward - no doubt there will be others we know who may need to visit there in the future too. We would like to support the ward by making a donation - not just to say thank you for helping our little family but all the other families we know who have needed their help too. We hope that any money raised can be spent on replenishing toys/craft/books/DVD players/DVDs or free refreshments for families. All this helps towards making an often difficult experience that little bit easier.

Chad and I have had little time to train for this triathlon. Chad will be completing the swim and bike and I will finish off with the run. To help motivate us we would love any donation our friends can spare. The money we raise will be presented directly to the children’s ward 😊. Diolch xxx Snowdonia Slateman Triathlon
