Story
Challenge Snowdonia
On the 30th June the WTW explorers Carl Ratcliffe, Neil Rodgers, Ian Curry, Stuart Hawkins and Jake Darkins will be hiking up the gruelling and treacherous 9 mile path to the top of mount Snowdon. Working in an office the most exercise we do is walking to the lift or jumping on the escalator and doctors have strongly advised against us taking on the challenge, but we have decided to ignore this in order to raise money for a great cause. Ward 84 is the Cancer Ward at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and we are hoping to raise "loadsamoney" to help the hospital make the ward as comfortable and fun as possible for the children who have to spend time at the hospital, often for long periods, whilst receiving treatment. We are raising funds for this ward together with the great team at Co-op, who will be joining us on the expedition, as unfortunately one of their team members has had to use the services of the ward as their daughter was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Their story has really inspired us and hopefully together with the Co-op team we can raise a large sum of money that will make a difference.
Thank you for your donation.
