    Story

I will be investing most of my time, energy and resources to opening up a fully equip state of the art gym that caters for people with any form of disability or disadvantages to health and fitness. Limitless will be facilitated with gym equipment that can be used for all types of disabilities for example sports halls, sensory rooms, gyms, therapy, nutritional advice and hydro pools and adapted gym equipment.

Limitless will help achieve sporting excellence, as it will also inspire and excite the community. The external result is our contribution to a better world for all people with a disability or any disadvantages to health and fitness.

This service will help benefit people with disadvantages by helping them mentally and socially. Sport offers physical advantages – good blood circulation, stronger muscles, better balance and co-ordination. But, sport can offer so much more. “Sport provides a platform for acquiring life skills,” says Hilary Beeton, an occupational therapist and athletics classifier for the South African Sports Association for Physically Disabled and the International Paralympic Committee. People who participate in sports enjoy psychological benefits like goodself-esteem and confidence and a belief in their skills and abilities. Sports may also help lower anger and stress scores than people with disabilities who are inactive hence why it will be beneficial to get all disadvantage people active by creating a fitness centre such as limitless fitness. Rehabilitative influence sport can have not only on the physical body but also on rehabilitating people with a disability into society and help advantage their life.

This type of service will also help increase employability within the disadvantaged community. This type of service will resolve the dis awareness within the community by breaking barriers through sport for people who have any disadvantages and want to exercise and stay healthy in a gym. Limitless fitness will be specifically designed to support the community that have disadvantages and disabilities within the health and fitness sector as it will help provide them with more quality of life in the future.

What makes this lesuire centre unique is our drive to develop multiple key partnerships, affiliations, associations with varied stakeholders to bring about a new vision showcasing sport and fitness. We strongly believe participation in sport and fitness activities contributes to physiological and psychological progressions at any level.

Limitless will then provide memberships for schools councils, private companies, care homes and the general public. Limitless will also run all types of adapted games for those who cannot participate in normal games such as tennis, basketball, football and dodge ball.

I have Identified a venue that can facilitate the gym, and I have already made contacts with professional bodies that are keen to support and be involved in this project we are now looking for supporters and funders who can help this vision we realised and change the lives of those who have a disability and are disadvantaged by their condition. Please remember not every disability is physical.

All money raised will help us provide the facilities and services needed to help increase psychological and physiological well being to a community with disadvantages by breaking barriers and removing stigma. This will allow the community to become more inclusive and equipped in the future and change lives for the better. So please help us make the impossible possible and include sports for all by working together to remove barriers.

I am very determined to help people with special needs live a better lifestyle by providing a service that will enable them to get a better quality out of life. My passion is to help those who feel disadvantaged feel equal alongside those who are able to carry out normal activities. We are one big community and one big nation that deserve equal opportunities no matter what abilities we have.

Physical exercise has played an immense role in providing the essential skills and tools in my life. It has helped me maintain my self-confidence and keep me intrinsically motivated. I believe that I have a product and service I would like to offer to people with disadvantages.
