Vasanti Patel is 72, She loves to walk around our beautiful town so you have probably seen her when you’ve been out & about.

Captain Tom has been a real inspiration to her & has helped her gain the confidence she needed to try something new. She started walking up & down Castle Hill regularly. She decided that she would like to challenge herself & at the same time, raise some money for Thetford’s Park Run & Junior Park Run 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️She has challenged herself to climb those steps 100 times during the month of April & raise £100.

She has just 13 more climbs to do to complete the challenge. This absolutely amazing, I’m so proud of her!!!
