Story
On 9th September I'll be lacing up my running shoes and putting on the Lycra to run the world's biggest half marathon. This will be my third Great North Run and this year I'm hoping to raise money for the Friends of West Bank Park - a lovely group of local folk who work hard to preserve, manage and develop this delightful park for the benefit of the local community. So please, get behind me and help me to raise some dosh for this fabulous local cause. Knowing I am helping to raise money with every mile I complete is the biggest motivator for reaching the finish line (that, and the large glass of wine of course!).
