Every £1000 we raise can buy a Defib, can you donate a small amount to help fund a Defib for your community. This doantion really could be a life saving doanation.
We are looking to raise funds to cover Chard Town Centre, Residential areas, Sports faculties and other high foot-fall areas.
Over 3,600 people are resuscitated by ambulance staff every year in the South West because they suffer a pre-hospital cardiac arrest.
For every minute it takes us to get a defibrillator to someone in cardiac arrest, a person loses a further 10% chance of survival.
A defibrillator is a device used to give an electric shock to help restart a patients heart when they are in cardiac arrest.
A Defibrillator can be the difference in saving a persons life in cardiac arrest.

6 years agoMany Thanks for all the donations so far. We are 5% the way to our target which is fantastic news. Please spare some change and donate if you can. Every little collected goes towards the life saving equipment we are providing. This is for a local cause where one of us may one day benefit and have our lives saved and changed forever.
