This is Charisma my 16 year old Palomino Welsh Section D. Charisma was rushed to and hospitalised in Ardene House Veterinary Clinic Westhill Aberdeen yesterday after falling ill on Thursday with impaction colic. I choose to try and save her by having her referred, rather than take the easy option if euthanising her which my vet was very eager to do. I learned today that my insurance company have excluded colic from her plan as she has suffered it before, even though I had not been informed, have kept my premiums up to date, had not exceeded my condition limit, and she had not suffered any bouts of colic before I took out the policy. I feel this is very unfair and has left me in a major dilemma of how to find the money for her veterinary fees. If anyone would like to help her I am asking if they could please make a contribution, no matter how small to help pay her veterinary fees. Thank you.
