Weʼve raised £2,000 to give extra funds to our Official Charity Car Partners

    Ashbourne, UK
Funded on Thursday, 8th November 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

The Charity Car team is getting muddy to raise more money!

You may have heard about our fantastic scheme Charity Car, which allows people to donate the value of their old car to charity? Well, in a big first for us, we're not asking for old cars, this September the team at Charity Car is doing something a bit different to help its wonderful Official Charity Car Partners - we're taking part in Xrunner - a mad dash over a 5k obstacle course!

Here's Jenny, one of our team, blazing the trail!

If you can make just a small donation to this fundraising pot, every penny of the total raised will be split between the charities that get car donations during the month of September. So you'll be helping out lots of worthy causes and getting to enjoy a little bit of the fuzzy feeling Charity Car is always going on about!

While some of us are slightly apprehensive about the run itself (note that we're more comfortable in a car recycling centre!), we are all very excited about being able to give some extra funds to our marvellous Official Partners. These charities support a huge range of causes from researching illness, emergency aid in war zones, community projects, saving rainforest, animal rescue and many more. Check out the list of our charities.

Hopefully you'll be able to give a little, but if you don't have the cash to donate then please spread the word about what we're up to and of course let people know that when their car is reaching the end of its days it can be used to help charity!
