As most of you know I had volunteered last year in Uganda for 3 months. One of the things I had noticed was that school kids struggled with school stationery and used books etc that were not in good conditions Or some of them did not have any. I was teaching in 3 primary schools. I‘d say roughly there were 800 students altogether. £1 = 5 books. The reason why I have chosen £800 as the target is averagely we could spend £1/student. With 20p/book + 80p we could get rubber, pencils, pens, rulers etc even throw a sweetie in there. 😊🍭

I will be going Uganda this October, will be buying and giving out things personally. No middle person fees or meddling with the money. Will share full expenses and costs when I return back. :)

Before I left I bought them pens and some sweets, the smiles on their faces were priceless. I cannot comprehend how happy they will feel when they receive these goodies.
