I am going to Tanzania because i would love to be able to make a difference to less fortunate people‘s lives and improve their qaulity of life in some way.

In Tanzania i will get to meet the maasai tribe who live around the Tanzania - Kenya border. I will also meet the inspiring mammas of the local villages as they welcome us into their community and teach me new, cultural and traditional skills.

I will also be tackling mount Meru as i embark on a 4 - 5 day trekk through tropical rainforest and later sand and rock as i head for the summet. During this trekk i will also get to take in stunning views of the dramatic volcanic ash crater and will finally view the spectacular sunrise at Meru‘s summet.

During my expedition i will also get to indulge in home and school improvements such as creating classrooms and help teaching local, less fortunate children. I will also be helping to make stronger community links.

Finally on my trip to Tanzania i will get to help out with conservation, wildlife work such as expanding water holes for native African animals this will include a safari where i get to view animals such as giraffes, hippos and possibly lions !
