It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out in aid of support to help my mother. She has Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease due to developing a parasitic infection while caring for my alcoholic father on one of our many trips over to Cape Town. They have eradicated the infection but it has left her with 20% lung function but her prognosis is not looking good and we could have anywhere from a month to a year left with her.

After the long ordeal of caring for my alcoholic father and him being hell bent on destroying all those who cared and loved him, we have found ourselves being cut off completely after his demise. This has left my mother in a precarious situation as he was supporting her and supplying her with her much needed medication from Cape Town.

My wish is to help alleviate the stress and worry that she is currently experiencing (which is impacting her health) and to make sure that her final moments with us are filled with magic and loving memories after all the years of hardship that she has had to endure at the hands of my father.

Her only wish is to spend precious moments with my kids and to leave them memories of her that they will cherish forever. However, these past few months since my fathers passing has caused much stress for her financially and I have been doing my utmost to support her as best I can.

With your help and support I will be able to ensure she can afford her medication and bills which will alleviate the stress she is under, plus help her to enjoy her final moments with us.
