Story
I am a 19 year old athlete, born and bred on the Isle of Wight, I have been training and working to meet my goals since I was 9 years old. In the last 10 years I have achieved many milestones, including being National Indoor and Outdoor High Jump Champion and have competed for my School, Club and Hampshire County on numerous occasions.
I have worked hard to achieve good results in my GCSE’s, A Levels and am now at University studying Zoology, whilst continuing to fit in training and a part-time job. I was proud to be selected to represent the Isle of Wight at the NatWest Island Games in Gotland, Sweden 2 years ago, where I achieved 5th place in the High Jump. Last year I represented Hampshire at both the individual English Schools Championships and the English Schools Combined Event Championships. I am delighted to have met the criteria to again be selected to attend the Island games in Gibraltar this year, where I hope to capitalise on my past and recent success and bring home a medal for the Island.
The Island Games is fully self-funded and I would be grateful if you feel able to help support me to be the best that I can be.
