My son Charlie was rushed in to hospital on Saturday and since has been diagnosed with severe Anaemia and Jaundice; without the staff on this ward including consultants, doctors, nurses, cooks and cleaners, we wouldn't have got through this very tough time and there is a very high possibility that my son wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them.

Charlie has had 5 blood transfusions to date with more possibly over the next few days all within 7 days.

I want to raise money for this ward as I believe that any funds donated would be used for new equipment and toys to make stays for children and families more positive. The support we have received from everyone has been first class and couldn't have been any better.

There will be 3 of us doing a charity tandem skydive to help raise as much as we possibly can. The date of this is to be confirmed.
