Many of you know, I am more likely to have a pint in my hand than a pair of trainers however, after hearing the news of my school friends losing their son, Charlie, to a brain tumour, i knew i wanted to do something. Charlie was 8 years old and fought like a soldier alongside his parents, Alex and Rachel against this illness.

With this, i have signed up to complete the Wirral Half Marathon on 8th September 2019. I am looking to raise £500 to donate towards the chosen charity of Brainchild Foundation (Queensland, Australia).

I am asking you to please donate as much as you can to this amazing charity who support both children and their families, when dealing with such sadness.

I will keep you all up to date on my training and the day itself.
