In October of this year I will be running the Chicago marathon. I am about as far from a natural runner as a person can be, and am looking to raise some money for a great local charity as well as give myself some extra motivation.

Sheffield Dog Rescue introduced me to my best mate in the world - Daniel the Spaniel.

I have volunteered at the shelter multiple times, being lucky enough to walk many of the dogs that find themselves here and they have all, without fail, been absolute sweethearts who have found themselves there through no fault of their own. The team at the Shelter do a fantastic job making sure all of the dogs are looked after well until they find their new forever home, and I thought a few quid might help towards that as well as going some way towards thanking them for bringing Daniel into our lives. He really is the best thing to have happened, and the team have helped countless other families find their perfect pooch.
