This will be our fifth 24 hour pool Marathon held to raise money for the BDFT. Seven people will challenge anyone and each other for 24 hours straight. With the simple rules of one of the six persons taking part has to be actively playing within the 24 hours and not leave the table. Games must be recorded with individual wins and games played. The person who wins the most games in the marathon wins.

This is where your sponsorship moneys come in, please sponsor one of our seven players to go the distance of 24 hours of pool and win the most games in that time frame. Pool rules will be decided before before the event and in case of a tie there will be a re-rack until a winner is decided. To challenge our seven pool players it will cost just £1. The marathon will take place at Sinfin Moor Social Club, Arleston Lane, DE24 3DH at 9am on 25th may till the 26th May 9am. Raffle prizes and games will also be run on the day if pool isn't your strong point so you may still be in with a chance to win. Please come and show your support and challenge our seven players.

The Bobby Dorka Foundation Trust (BDFT) was launched in 2013 after the passing of the beloved Bobby Dorka due to a sudden pulmonary embolism. Bobby had only just turned the tender age of 21 in March 2013 but decided that his journey in this form of life was complete less than a month later.

Since then, all the hearts that Bobby touched, who now channel his pure and beaming energy through themselves, have made it their mission to touch many more hearts and spread the positivity that Bobby always carried himself by setting up the BDFT.

The aim of the Bobby Dorka Foundation Trust is to help without prejudice, local, national and worldwide causes and disasters as well as individuals that may need our support to live the life that they deserve.

Bobby’s goal was to become a well-known figure for helping others, so by spreading his energy and sharing his belief of living a life filled with happiness and love, we will fulfil his wish by helping those who are less fortunate and in need.
