So,as many of you will already know, my struggles with mental health go a few years back however around 9 months ago things got extremelydifficult. This led to me feeling extremely low and after an atempt to end my own life, i ended up in a psychiatric unit for several months. So thats my short story about the struggles i have encountered due to poor mental health. Well.. People often turn a blind eye to mental health illness’ and you see it everywhere. People being told to ”man up” or “just get on with it “ its crazy really... would you tell someone with a broken leg that theyre just being dramatic ? No. So why do we do it when it comes to our brains.

Now in recorvery and looking forward to life. I realise, my brain was broken. Like so many others, i suffered in silence. because it sounds stupid “ a broken brain”. Crazy right? I was crazy. And i still am ( in so many different ways ) hence why i am doing this.

So..What best way to make people open there eyes ... i think reading a sob story (and then watching someone who wasnt expected to survive jumping out of a plane )should do it for many.
