J'anique was nearly taken from me at 11 days old due to being born with bronchitis, she stopped breathing multiple times at home. She was taken to the the children's intensive care unit in Leicester where she was incubated, ventilated, had tubes and wires in each hand and foot and stayed for 7 days. The staff at the CICU were absolutely amazing, so supportive and reassuring and they genuinely cared for the health of my child. If it wasn't for them, J'anique would not be here today and my life would be very different. We can not thank them enough and would like to raise donations to go to this amazing unit.
