    Story

In October 2017 we carried out an extensive survey of park users, with the aim to understand what the investment priorities should be in Cherry Orchard Country Park.

It was clear from the survey results that westherproofing the paths was a clear priority, as many pathways were waterlogged, even during dry periods.

The condition of pathways also makes it very difficult for wheelchair users to use the park.

We are therefore seeking funding to make immediate repairs and improvements to existing pathways. We anticipate that funding could happen from a number of sources, including grant funding, local authority funding and crowdfunding.
