Abbie (11 years old) has been selected to the Indoor Cricket South Africa Junior Ladies team, touring all over South Africa in September. She is at the forefront of developing the sport amongst girls in South Africa as this is only the second year a junior ladies team has been selected.

And Connor has been selected to the U14 Indoor Cricket South Africa team, also touring in September. He was awarded the best U14 batsman award at the recent provincial nationals.

Then for outdoor cricket, Connor has also been included in an Invitational team from South Africa made up of provincial cricketers (Connor was selected to represent Eastern Province at the U13 national cricket week) to go play in the Heath Streak U14 President's Afro-Asia T20 Cup in Harare, Zimbabwe, competing against teams from India, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia and Tanzania.

These kids both love the sport so much and work so hard to improve themselves, practicising and being coached as much as they can. They would love to represent South Africa but as these tours are all self-funded we need your help to make their dreams come true.

They don't like cricket, they love it!
