Chewy is my beloved 5 year old pomeranian. She’s a happy little fluff ball and full of sass! A few months ago she began to walk with some difficulty, but with rest and meds & lots of love she was fine (albeit it a tad wobbly). Although she is a happy little girl, the wobble has reappeared. So as not to cause any permanent damage to her spine, she needs inevitable surgery in the coming weeks. This starts with an MRI, to discover exaclty what is going on under all that fluff, (this is £2,500 alone). After talking with multiple vets, she likely has disks out of place, pushing on her spinal cord and causing her back legs to not work properly. After scans and bloods will be the appropriate surgery to her back.

As many of you will understand, the thought of any pet having surgery is a daunting one- and something that is only ever done when essential. Its also incredibly stressful, not to mention expensive. I understand this time of year is not ideal for any kind of spending, but every penny will go to Chew Bear getting better & running around with her pal Diego again.
