On the 29th of September 2018 my friend Steve Rose and I will take on the Watkin Path - Snowdonia.
The Watkin Path is considered to be the most challenging of the six 'classic' routes to the summit with a challenging final ascent.
The distance is 8miles (13km), with a duration of 5-7 hours.
This route offers the biggest vertical ascent gain to the summit -3330 feet (1015 meters) as well as sections of steep and loose scree making the final approach challenging.
